On the 15th of January 2026 myself and Ujjwal Kumar Singh joined a call and pressed record. We were curious to see what would happen. A few weeks later I’d done the same with Neil Taylor and Clare Norman. Snippets of those recordings were turned into Moments.

Ujjwal, Neil and Clare paved the way for what would officially become a new format for sharing insights on the MoTaverse: Call for Insights was born.

A Call for Insights is a recorded conversation between two people, sometimes three, with the goal of exploring an interesting topic. We offer this service as part of a professional membership and it's a great way to fill up a MoTaverse profile, articulate ideas and build connections.

At the time of writing there have been 45 Call for Insights (not all have been published so keep your eyes peeled on the MoTaverse homepage over the coming weeks).

I’m happy to have had over 40 of those conversations, each one with incredible people with brilliant experiences and ideas to share.

It’s real conversations that matter. We can’t fake it on a call and let AI do the talking. We’re so glad that real people and their real ideas have contributed to the quality craft and industry, by expanding the MoTaverse.

And hats off to the “double insights club” and “triple insights club” – I’m looking at you Ash Winter, Cameron Browne and Simon Rigler.

There are more conversations to be had and reflections to be written so do consider getting involved. Watch/listen and share a star with those whose insights you’ve valued. And do consider putting yourself forward to record one. We keep the pressure low so you can show up as yourself. Join the first 100 people to do so, select “Call for Insights” on the Contribute page
